ABOUT THE CONFERENCE:
The Department of Behavioral Health envisions the District of Columbia as a thriving community where prevention is possible and recovery from mental health and substance use disorders is the expectation. In support of this vision, the DBH Behavioral Health Recovery Conference will highlight efforts to build a system that continues to honor peers as leaders and partners in all aspects of care, promote the use of best and emerging practices in behavioral health, strengthen partnerships and improve outcomes for residents of the District of Columbia.
This one-day conference brings together consumers, families, advocates, behavioral health practitioners and leaders from District government and the community who will learn, share and shape the future toward a more resilient and thriving recovery-oriented system.
