The annual Malek School of Health Professions’ lecture will take place on Wednesday March 20th from 5:30-8:00 pm. This year’s topic is a continuation of the theme of shared responsibility surrounding the opioid epidemic. The speaker for this year’s event will be SAFE’s Executive Director, Brandee Izquierdo.
There will be a VIP reception with light hors d’oevures and non-alcoholic refreshments from 5:30-6:15 pm in the second floor conference facility at the Ballston Center (1000 N Glebe Rd, Arlington, VA 22201). The lecture will follow from 6:30-8pm in the main auditorium.

On-site parking will be available in the underground garage which is accessed from the rear of the building on N. Wakefield St. There will also be a regular shuttle service from main campus to the Ballston Center on the evening of the event.
