S.A.F.E. Project US holds community-based coordination events in Rhode Island that bring together community leaders, local law enforcement, medical personnel, educators and families that are affected by the opioid crisis. Families who have lost children, spouses or partners who have lost loved ones, as well as friends and supporters are encouraged to attend our community events to add their perspective and insight to help rid their community of the opioid epidemic.


The Rhode Island Department of Health has sent an alert to cities and towns in the state after detecting a recent spike in drug overdoses.
