Arlington, VA (September 1, 2025) – In support of Recovery Month this September, SAFE Project encourages every member of the recovery community – as well as those interested in supporting the success of individuals in recovery – to participate in the “Fall Into Action” challenge coordinated by HealthCode.
“Fall Into Action” is a free global virtual activity challenge where every step helps raise awareness for recovery, wellness, and stigma-free support. Once registered, individuals and teams can join the leaderboards to keep track of their daily activity levels. Participants have the option to establish a fundraising goal and share it with friends and colleagues by email or via social media.
Individuals can register at HealthCode.Org/events while organizations can register at HealthCode.org/organizations.
National Recovery Month is observed every September. This year, HealthCode is raising funds to support the recovery community in association with SAFE Project.
“Physical activity and self care are important! HealthCode makes it easy for all of us to take care of ourselves regardless of the activity we choose” said Jeff Horwitz, CEO of SAFE Project. “We’re proud to partner with HealthCode this September in support of the recovery community.”
Steve Amos, CEO and founder of HealthCode, said, “HealthCode is honored to be working with SAFE Project and recognizing Recovery Month during September’s Fall into Action virtual activity challenge. HealthCode is teaming up with SAFE Project to raise awareness of its mission of contributing to solutions toward overcoming mental health challenges, substance misuse and the addiction epidemic in the United States. Participants in the Fall into Action virtual event will help engage participants in establishing active, healthy lifestyles and build camaraderie while having the opportunity to set up a fundraiser through HealthCode’s FundDash platform to support SAFE Project. We look forward to working with SAFE Project on raising awareness on the challenges of mental health and addiction while engaging our communities in a healthy, active lifestyle through the Fall into Action challenge.”
More than 197,000 registrants have participated in HealthCode’s virtual activity events since 2014, achieving 20.4 million miles and more than 324 million minutes of physical activity and burning 2.3 billion calories.
