Our Financial Information

Stop the Addiction Fatality Epidemic (SAFE) Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit incorporated in 2017. SAFE Project as incorporated within the Commonwealth of Virginia and is aggressively fighting addiction nationally.

SAFE Project received its designation from the IRS as a charitable corporation in 2018. SAFE Projects Tax Identification number is 83-0781172.

SAFE Project operates in full transparency and in stewardship of its supporters. Our policies emphasize the importance of ethical practices, consistency in conduct and adherence to transparency. Please read out Donor and Conflict of Interest Policies below.

Our Policies

SAFE Project operates in full transparency, and in stewardship of its supporters. Our policies follow all non-profit best practices and benchmarks. Read more below about policies and procedures.

Donor Policy

SAFE Project does not accept contributions or support from any source directly responsible for the creation or perpetuation of the addiction fatality crisis, without a specific, sincere and public acknowledgment of their role in the crisis, their commitment to preventing further escalation of the crisis within and outside of the United States, and their affirmative support to immediately engage in other efforts to Stop the Addiction Fatality Epidemic.

SAFE Project is eager to collaborate with and support other organizations attempting to Stop the Addiction Fatality Epidemic. However, we are reluctant to work with organizations that receive funding from a source associated with causing the opioid epidemic, as described above.

Privacy and Donor Opt-out Policy

SAFE respects the privacy of our visitors. We will not sell your information to a third party, or send you additional information as a result of your visit to our website without your knowledge and permission. If you would like to receive information from SAFE Project, sign up for our monthly newsletter.
