Description: The YVC is a diverse group of high school students from across the country who have expressed interest in becoming a student ambassador with SAFE Project, a national nonprofit dedicated to stopping the addiction fatality epidemic currently facing our country. YVC provides opportunities for members to learn and lead. YVC provides members a platform for expanding knowledge around addiction, substance use, mental health challenges, stigma, overdose prevention, primary prevention, advocacy and allyship. Examples include but are not limited to: school/community service projects, school based programming, community forums and town halls, prevention campaigns, messaging, research projects, and advocacy.
