Rear Admiral Christopher Jones, Pharm.D., Dr.P.H., M.P.H.
Christopher Jones currently serves as Director of the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) and acting Director of the Center for Behavioral Health Statistics and Quality at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Prior to becoming Director of CSAP, RDML Jones served as the director of the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. During his career, RDML Jones has served in multiple leadership roles in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). RDML Jones maintains an active research portfolio and has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed publications on substance use, mental health, and injury prevention.
