Why is the topic of addiction and/or recovery important to you?(Required)

SAFE Project defines servant leadership as "a leadership style where the leader's primary goal is to serve others. They prioritize the well-being, success, and empowerment of others above their own." In what ways do you hope to grow as a servant leader?(Required)

We understand that different communities have been impacted differently by the addiction epidemic. How would you like to see solutions to the addiction epidemic be more diverse, inclusive, and equitable?(Required)

Each CRLA fellow is responsible for working on an impact project throughout their fellowship year. Impact projects fall into 4 major categories:

Creating or expanding collegiate recovery support on campus: this can include creating a recovery meeting, creating a collegiate recovery community, or expanding these offerings that might already exist on campus.

Creating or expanding harm reduction initiatives on campus: this can include university initiatives to offer naloxone and trainings on campus, offering fentanyl testing strips and trainings on campus, or expanding these offerings that might already exist on campus.

Destigmatizing addiction and providing education on campus: this can include training students on the topic of substance use disorder and recovery allyship, or expanding these offerings that might already exist on campus.

If a fellow would like to focus their impact on a project not outlined above, they are able to create their own impact project focus, working with SAFE staff to define their goals.
