  • Donate $5:
    While GivingTuesday isn’t all about monetary donations, it’s still a great way to give back! To celebrate our 5 Year Anniversary, we ask for a small donation of $5 to help SAFE Project continue to do groundbreaking work for the next 5 years and beyond! Want to give more than $5? We accept. Want to give less than $5? We accept! Anything you give will have a great impact on SAFE programming.
  • Visit 5 Local Pharmacies:
    People should be able to get Naloxone (also known as Narcan®) — a prescription medication used to reverse an opioid overdose — at most pharmacies in the nation, but there may be instances where pharmacies don’t actually carry it. There should be stricter policies requiring all pharmacies to have this life-saving medication on hand. Visit five of your local pharmacies and ask the pharmacists, “Do you carry naloxone?” Together, we can spread the word about the life-saving benefits of the overdose reversal drug naloxone. Learn more about this opportunity and how you can help.
  • Spread the Word About SAFE Project on Social Media:
    Like us on Facebook and LinkedIn, and also follow us on Instagram and Twitter via @safeprojectUS! Already do? Share a post… or two… or dare we say, five! This is an easy way to do good this #GivingTuesday. Help us reach new audiences and help those in need!
  • Take the No Shame Pledge:
    The No Shame Pledge is a quick and easy way to make a HUGE impact. The No Shame Movement combats stigma, because there is no shame in getting help for mental health and addiction. All you have to do is sign the pledge, committing to the support of reaching out for help without judgment. Once you do, you will receive a certificate that acknowledges your pledge. Share a photo of you and your pledge and tag us @safeprojectUS on social media!
