SAFE Project has joined forces with subject matter experts in taking collective actions to foster resilience and wellness for youth.
Together, through effective school-community partnerships, we offer engaging educational programs, presentations, and trainings that reduce risk factors for addiction and mental health challenges while empowering, equipping, and — most importantly — engaging youth as part of shared solutions.
The SAFE Choices School-Community Partnership offerings are tailored to meet the unique needs of each school and community (including its students and faculty, as well as its parents, guardians, and caretakers of youth). All programs are age appropriate, expand knowledge, build skills, and offer solution-focused action for ongoing impact.
Through effective collaborations we:
- Address risk and protective Factors by providing information, support, and skill building
- Educate, empower, and equip participants as agents of change in shared solutions
- Strengthen developmental relationships and life-fueling connections
- Cultivate resilience by fostering social, behavioral, and emotional development
- Provide tools over fear; prepare versus scare
- Maximize capacity for continuous, ongoing actions
